Welcome to Rock Band Battle of the Bands, one of the biggest, raddest, share-worthy events you've ever been to.

A fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC and Yukon, partners like MTV, Harmonix and Electronic Arts will assure you receive the rock star treatment you deserve if your band has the Rock Band game skills to make the finals. Red carpet, paparazzi, friends, fans, celebrities and more will greet you at the famous Roxy Nightclub after you've moved on from the October 4th preliminaries, which take place at the EA Games studio - easily the largest studio of its kind in the world. The finalists have been picked and we're ready to put on an epic performance at the Roxy. Tickets for the November 6th Grand Finale at the Roxy are being sold on a very limited basis. Please purchase your ticket as soon as possible as quantities are limited. How Does It Work?

You play 3 songs initially and build up your base score. Then the next round you will go head-to-head with another team except it won't be your normal head-to-head match-up. You'll select a song, and they'll select a song. You play your song as well as your opponent's song and they do the same. This way, there is absolutely no way anyone can cheat and everyone gets a fair crack at their best song. You keep advancing further and further until we have our finalists for the Roxy.

This year's Rock Band Tournament will feature the newly released, bigger and badder, Rock Band 2 platform (Released in the fall). You have a choice whether to Rock Out from the original playlist or step your game up and rock out on Rock Band 2.   

Our mission at the Make-A-Wish Foundation® is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of BC and Yukon was the first Canadian Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Since 1983 we have granted more than 1,000 wishes for children in our region. This year we hope to grant between 80 and 100 special wishes.
